Some research on perfumes:
I found out that the most of the perfumes have a simple slogan and a simple font.
So me and Raya chose to something similar in that way. Simple, elegant and dynamic.

My assignment for this week was to advertise a product. My partner  and I took the pictures, edited them, created a logo and a slogan. In order to complete our goal we choose to advertise the ''FEDERICO MAHORA'' perfume.

First of all we set up the things we need to take the photos. We placed the perfume on the bedside table and had the wardrobe as a background. We use 2 led mood lamps one in yellow and the other one in orange colours respectively to match the colours with the perfume and to make it look more gold.

We then edited the pictures using picmonkey. We chose to do 4 different edits to have a variety of ideas. In the first photo we used that effect which looks like a painting because both of us thought at the beggining that it was very interesting and artistic. Then we have made the second one with dark colours and an effect which focuses on the name of the perfume. For the third one we tryed to make it look funky and unique. The last one was the one we used for the advertisment. We choose that because it was more bright, clear and simple than the other ones and it fits with the perfume's style.

We then created our logo on befunky. We use for it a sticker and our first letters of our names (Elias, Raya). 

Finally we picked up our slogan "PERFECT MAN, HERE I AM" because we wanted to make it look more dynamic, elegant and stylish.

REFLECTION ON THE GROUP ADVERT PROJECT

On the 13th of October all my classmates and I had to do a presentation in the class about our advertisements. For the reason that this presentation was my first one in DMU I was nervous somehow. However, I think that everyone was actually feeling the same. It was fun at the same time because after the end of every presentation the rest of the students and the teachers of the class had to wrote something about the final result of what they saw. When me and Raya finished we took some good comments from our class.

The most of them agreed on:

1. Photo - Edit was good

2. Logo was good

3. More research
