Hello everyone, my name is Elias Asprou. I'm 20 years old and I'm from Paralimni, Cyprus. I'm studying photography on DMU University in Leicester.


My love for photography has begun from an early age. I remember my self taking photos of people and landscapes since I was 11, when I first had a camera for Christmas present. From then I have never stopped taking photos. Without pictures and generally photography I feel empty.


So through the years I tried my self on many different things but I obviously understood that photography is my main preference. My model and my biggest help of mine was actually my sister. The most of the times when I was trying to take photos of something and I needed help, my sister was always there. At the age of 18 I used to have in my school a thing called "working week" which I had to go in any job I wanted for a week. Of course I chose to go to photographer studio to work. There, I met new friends who helped me a lot and learned me many things that I didn't know about photography, Photoshop and how to take a good picture.

This photo was taken in Thessaloniki, Greece this summer. It is located at the seaside of the town. As I was walking in front of the umbrellas I thought it was really beautiful and I found it a great opportunity to take the photo. The sunset was compliting my scenery and the clouds were creating a perfect atmospere.
