MAJOR PROJECT Part 3

EDITING PROCESS

FRONT SIDE PHOTO

I edit both of the photos on Pixlr.

1. I cropped the photo.

2. I used the sharpen tool to make the picture look more clear.

3. Focal tool to focus on her face.

4. Then I chose from the effects the unicolor and then Jayden to make the photo darker and more dramatic.

5. Then I uploaded the photo on Canva which is a website for creating CD covers.

6. Then I changed the background colour into grey to match with the photo.

7. After that I added a title for the album ''UNCOMFORTABLE''. I changed the size of the letters to 48 and then I chose the font Aileron Thin.

8. And finally I downloaded the first photo.

BACK SIDE PHOTO

1. I rotated the photo and cropped it.

2. I used the sharpen tool then to make it more clear.

3. Then I went to effects and I chose the same one as in the first photo.

4. I uploaded the photo on Canva and then I changed the background into grey and I started putting some titles and most of them refer to break-up and depression.

FINAL PIECES

REFLECTION
It was the first time that I used Pixlr for the editing of my photos. However, it was very easy to work with the tools, effects and everything. Pixlr includes many different things that people can use and I will work again for my next projects.

Canva is really helpful website. It incudes also many different fonts for the text and you can use it for great covers.

I am really happy for my first creation but I had a problem on the final results because I wanted both of ways to look the same. I mean vertically but because the photo with the hand was from the beginning horizontally I couldn't change it because then is was going to look very small.

  1. This is much better! A good post showing your process, highlighting the tools you are using and some discussion on why you are choosing to edit in that way. Keep this up with the rest of your designs!
